This field manual has been designed as a “stand-alone” field resource to complement the Water for Life Book.
It provides a step-by-step field guide of what to monitor, how to monitor it, and where to record the data. It is a resource for community groups, Indigenous and other landholders and resource managers looking to accurately assess the health of freshwaters in their water catchments.
Lift-out sheets ready to be photocopied are included for all of the tests described.
